Handling Procedure
The connector should not be exposed to long term heat/sunshine. If this occurs, soak it on fresh water before use.
Lubricate the connector with silicone oil, like Loctite 8021, Molykote 44 or equivalent, before mate.
Remove any accumulation of sand or mud in the female contact with fresh water. 
Do not disconnect by pulling on the cable. 
Avoid sharp bends at cable entry.
Ensure that there are no angular loads, as this destroys the connector.
Do not overtighten the connectors. 
Recommended torque: 7/16" thread: 4.2 Nm        1/2" thread: 7 Nm       5/8" thread: 10 Nm
